Navigating Friedreich’s Ataxia

A Settled Heart

  • Inner peace
  • Quiet confidence

It’s hard to find peace during Friedreich’s Ataxia.

Confidence? Non existent

It is necessary to anchor your thoughts. This will help eliminate worries and changes happening around you. If you are anchored, when changes happen, you cannot be moved.

What a Settled Heart Looks Like

Deep calm: You stop rushing, panicking, or worrying about things you cannot control. The test results are what they are.

Firm trust: Your inner choices and beliefs stay strong even when life is hard. So days are harder than others. Trust… This will pass.

Clear focus: You look past sudden troubles to see the big picture. Don’t focus on the fall today. Try again tomorrow.

How to Find a Settled Heart

Let go of worry: Practice quiet times to slow down your busy thoughts.

Focus on truth: Build your life on steady principles and values that do not change.

Accept what is: Stop fighting everyday storms and learn to rest in the present moment.

Friedreich’s Ataxia isn’t writing my story. I am!
