Called To Homeschool

I have been homeschooling my kids for 10 years. There have definitely been times I questioned my decision. I believe it is what I have been called to do. It’s my purpose in life.

I started when my first was just three years old. He had several learning delays. I could not imagine trusting him in the care of a school.

After his first IEP meeting, I realized a public school setting would not work for me. Soon after I quit my job and devoted all my attention to schooling my child.

The rest is history.

Everyday has a new challenge, but I’ve never given up on this calling.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.- Proverbs 22:6
